Necessary qualification to appear in An Ias examination

 Educational Qualification
1.Any degree from a recognized University
2.Those who are awaiting for the final semester examination can apply for preliminary examination .When you go to the main examination you must show your completed degree certificate
3.MBBS students can write this examination only after five years i.e the cource completion

Age limit
An Indian citizen aged 21 can appear for the civil services exam
1. For General category ,the maximum age limit is 30
2. For OBC ,the maximum age limit is 33
4. For SC and ST ,the maximum age limit is 35
5. For physically challenged and visually challenged ,they have exemption upto 10 years

How many times can a candidate appear for the civil services exam ?
1. General category can appear for 4 times
2. OBC can appear for 7 times
3. For SC /ST they can appear till their age limit
4. Physically handicapped can appear 7 times

Fee Detail
General and OBC need to pay 50/-
No examination fee for SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates

NOTE
1. Candidate must purchase CRF stamp for 50/- in the nerarest Head post office and send it with postal stamp.
2. The above said Fee is only for preliminary exam .For main exam only general candidates have to pay 100/- toward exam fee
